Job Description

Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual School Psychologist for a full time 1099 contracted position to support a district in building and expanding its internal school psychology program during Extended School Year (ESY) and the upcoming 2026-2027 school year . This role will play a key part in helping the district transition away from a cooperative model and establish strong internal systems, processes, and psychological services through a fully virtual setting. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and self motivated professional who is passionate about virtual services and interested in helping build a school psychology program from the ground up as the district transitions away from a cooperative model. School Year No benefits provided Required Qualifications Active Minnesota School Psychologist license/certification Previous experience working in Minnesota school settings Prior telepractice/virtual school psychology experience required Strong knowledge of Minnesota special education procedures and compliance requirements Experience conducting virtual evaluations and participating in IEP/eligibility meetings Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and IEP meetings Collaborate with special education teams, staff, and families Maintain compliance with Minnesota and federal special education guidelines Complete documentation and reports in a timely manner Assist in building and refining internal psychology services as the district transitions away from a co-op model Compensation Competitive hourly compensation based on experience 1099 contracted role Compensation for this position ranges from $24.10 to $54.10.
