Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school psychologist opportunity is available at a reputable school in Central Falls, RI. This contract position calls for a dedicated professional experienced in providing psychological services within an educational environment. The role focuses on supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development through assessments, interventions, and consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs. Develop and implement individualized intervention plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success. Participate in developing strategies to improve school climate and student well-being. Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field. Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and providing interventions. Strong understanding of Special Education laws and regulations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
