Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Help support student success in a dynamic educational environment by working as a School Psychologist in a contract position for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, with both part-time and full-time options available, allowing you to tailor your work to your needs. The assignment is scheduled to begin in late August and continue through mid-June, aligning with the local school calendar. You will be joining a supportive community committed to fostering positive outcomes for students.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Current, active School Psychologist licensure in accordance with state regulations (must be provided for consideration) Prior experience in educational or school-based psychology strongly preferred Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills Collaborative mindset and proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Commitment to in-person services; virtual or remote work is not available for this role
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students as required Develop and interpret intervention strategies in collaboration with educators and families Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expertise on student needs and supports Deliver direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to promote positive student development Maintain detailed records and comply with all ethical and legal standards Benefits of this position include flexible scheduling to support work-life balance and the professional rewards of making a tangible impact on students' academic journeys.
