Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract To Hire Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a School Psychologist for the 26/27 school year. This full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity offers a rewarding career path to those passionate about providing crucial psychological services in an educational setting. This role involves working collaboratively within the school community to deliver comprehensive psychological assessments, consult with educators and families, and help develop plans that address students' academic, social, and emotional needs. Desired Qualifications:
Active School Psychologist License in South Carolina Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students' needs Interpret test results and compile detailed reports Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to develop intervention strategies Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) and 504 meetings Provide individual and group counseling as appropriate Support crisis intervention and prevention programs Maintain documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines Contribute to positive school climate initiatives This position provides a chance to grow your professional skills while playing a vital role in student wellbeing.
