Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An immediate opening for a dedicated School Psychologist is available in the Abbeville, SC area. This full-time, direct hire position offers the opportunity to provide vital psychological services within a school setting from now through the end of the current school year. The role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations to determine Special Education eligibility, with a focus on assessing Specific Learning Disability (using the PSW model), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough psychological evaluations for students requiring Special Education assessments Apply assessment tools and models, including the PSW framework for Specific Learning Disability Collaborate with educational teams to support student needs and develop appropriate interventions Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate findings to relevant stakeholdersQualifications:
Hold a valid South Carolina School Psychologist License Experience with a range of psychological assessments, including those related to learning disabilities, ASD, emotional disturbances, and ADHD Ability to start immediately and commit through the end of the school year Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staffLocation:
