Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist position is available near Columbia, South Carolina, offering a rewarding opportunity to support student development and well-being in a dynamic educational environment. This contract role requires a dedicated professional to work 37.5 hours per week, contributing valuable expertise to identify and address the psychological and educational needs of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support academic and behavioral interventions. Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students. Utilize data to inform school-wide programs and strategies that enhance student success. Advocate for mental health awareness and resources within the school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in School Psychology or related field with relevant certification or licensure. Experience conducting psychological assessments and working with diverse student populations. Strong knowledge of educational laws, assessment tools, and intervention strategies. Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with educators and families. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a school setting and maintain confidentiality.
