Qualifications/Experience:
Master's degree in school psychology (required), with at least two years of experience as a school psychologist intern or equivalent. State certification as a School Psychologist. Strong ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and prepare detailed reports. Demonstrated counseling skills and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to adapt and work effectively under pressure in a variety of school settings.
Responsibilities:
Perform psychoeducational evaluations and communicate results to parents, teachers, and administration. Provide individual and group counseling to students. Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, administrators, and external agencies. Participate in development of IEPs and multi-disciplinary placement meetings. Lead crisis management and intervention initiatives. Stay current with professional developments and maintain accurate records. Utilize technology to manage documentation and reporting.
