Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful, flexible position supporting students' educational journeys. This engaging contract opportunity is for a per diem School Psychologist, offering the chance to directly influence student success through personalized, onsite support. In this role, you'll work with a small caseload—five students—in a charter school environment, dedicating 4 to 8 hours per week as needed. Your expertise with learning disabilities will be vital as you participate in eligibility meetings, conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and contribute to IEP development. Desired Background And Experience Certification and experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting Strong foundation in assessing and supporting students with learning disabilities Familiarity with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and IEP planning Ability to effectively communicate within a multidisciplinary educational team Availability for onsite work within specified weekly hours Key Responsibilities Serve as a collaborative specialist at eligibility meetings to determine student needs Administer and interpret assessments, including FBAs, to support individualized learning plans Participate in developing and revising IEPs, ensuring tailored guidance for students Consult with teachers, families, and staff to implement effective strategies and interventions Maintain accurate, confidential records and reports This position offers a unique chance for School Psychologists seeking meaningful, flexible hours in a supportive school environment.
