Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support the needs of students in a vibrant educational setting in Lexington, SC. This contract position offers the chance to work closely with school staff to provide psychological assessments, intervention strategies, and counseling services that foster students' academic and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student mental health and well-being Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to create positive learning environments Collect and analyze data to guide school-wide behavioral and social-emotional programs
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working within school settings, preferably with students of varying ages Strong understanding of special education laws and disability types Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders Ability to manage caseload effectively and prioritize interventions
