School Psychologist in Swansea, SC 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contract position in Swansea, SC. This role supports students' academic and emotional well-being in a school setting, providing essential psychological services to enhance learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Document assessments and maintain detailed records in compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families Excellent communication and organizational abilities
