Qualifications:
Active School Psychologist License in South Carolina (SC) Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred Familiarity with educational law, policies, and procedures governing student assessments and IEPs Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to design strategies addressing learning, behavioral, and emotional needs Provide crisis intervention and develop preventative mental health strategies Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving academic success Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with school policies
