Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A contract school psychologist is needed to provide comprehensive psychological services across assigned school sites for a district near Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role supports student academic success, behavioral development, and social-emotional wellbeing through assessment, consultation, and intervention services in collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Out of state applicants are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a Master's, Education Specialist (Ed.

S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. A valid Tennessee School Psychologist licensure or eligibility for licensure is required. Chattanooga offers access to outdoor recreation, moderate commute times, a growing downtown and cultural scene, and family-friendly atmosphere. Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning Complete evaluation reports in compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and Tennessee state guidelines Participate in eligibility determination meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Provide data-driven recommendations for interventions and educational planning Support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs Assist with functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Provide crisis response support and participate in school-based threat assessments as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered Ensure ethical and professional practice consistent with NASP standards Soliant offers flexible assignment options for school professionals, competitive pay, comprehensive health benefits, company matched 401(k) retirement plans, support and reimbursement for licensure and continuing education, tax-free travel stipends and reimbursements, and the opportunity for contract renewal and extended placement.
