Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract An exciting full-time contract opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist looking to make a positive impact in educational settings. From August 4th through the end of December, you will play a vital role in supporting students at two elementary campuses by covering consecutive maternity leaves. This is a rewarding position for a dedicated professional eager to provide essential services in a collaborative academic environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current School Psychologist certification or eligibility Previous experience working within school settings, especially elementary populations Strong knowledge of student assessment, intervention, and counseling practices Ability to interpret and communicate testing results clearly to staff and families Excellent organizational and time management skills Collaborative mindset with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychological services for approximately 500 elementary students Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and support the RTI process Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and mental health support as needed Consult with teachers and staff to implement effective student strategies Facilitate parent meetings, communicate findings, and offer recommendations for student success Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines This assignment offers a consistent 37.5-hour schedule across five days per week, ensuring every student receives quality support.
