Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential support within a school setting in Memphis, TN. This contract position offers the chance to apply psychological expertise to assess and support students' academic, social, and emotional development in a dynamic educational environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs related to learning, behavior, and mental health Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives Desired Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience working within K-12 educational settings Strong assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school staff Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
