Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled school psychologist to provide vital support in educational settings within the Memphis, TN area. This travel position allows for engagement with diverse student populations, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on children's academic and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students presenting learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed to support student mental health. Offer professional development and guidance to school staff on topics related to student psychological health. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with educational regulations and standards. Desired Qualifications And Experience Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field; certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Demonstrated experience assessing and supporting students in school environments. Strong knowledge of educational laws, special education procedures, and psychological testing instruments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school teams and families. Flexibility and adaptability to travel and work across various school settings.
