$135/hr on W2
Gross Weekly Pay:
$5,400
Taxable:
$3,461/week

$1,246/week Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Licensed Psychologist to provide comprehensive mental health services within a correctional healthcare setting. The Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing counseling services, crisis intervention, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient care for inmates/residents. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological screenings, assessments, and clinical interviews. Review inmate records and evaluate mental health needs. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans. Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions. Perform crisis assessments and intervention services. Make regular rounds in segregation and restricted housing units to assess mental health status. Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, educational staff, and security personnel. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and case reviews. Monitor inmate progress and document treatment outcomes. Assist in identifying and managing behavioral health concerns and psychiatric emergencies.
Education Requirements Required:
Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
Preferred:
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience, including at least one (1) year in a comparable role.
Licensure & Certifications Required:
Current, unrestricted Psychologist license in the state of Tennessee (or state where practice occurs). Valid Driver's License. Ideal Candidate Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Experience working with diverse and high-risk populations. Knowledge of psychological counseling theories and treatment modalities. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication, documentation, and crisis management skills.
Pay:
$120.00 - $129.00 per hour Application Question(s): Candidate's residence is located 70 miles away from the facility.
