Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract School Psychologist Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required.
  • Valid TX State certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for certification).
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, psychological testing, and intervention strategies.
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations, staff, and parents.

Crandall, TX Start:
26/27 school year
Full-Time:
M-F, 5 days/week
Caseload:
K-12 openings, details discussed in an interview
Pay:
Hourly, dependent on experience Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student learning and behavioral needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to design and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies
  • Support crisis intervention and assist in managing school-wide behavioral issues
  • Provide professional development and training to educators and staff on psychological topics, such as social-emotional learning, behavior management, and mental health
  • Consult with parents and guardians to offer strategies for supporting students at home
