In this full-time, 40-hour a week role, you'll make a meaningful impact by assessing and advocating for student needs while collaborating closely with educators and families.
Qualifications:
Certification as an Educational Diagnostician Prior experience delivering services in an educational setting, preferably with elementary-aged students Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required Ability to interpret evaluation data, develop reports, and recommend appropriate educational interventions Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all federal, state, and local requirements
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify student learning strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services Administer assessments and interpret data for eligibility and program planning Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide recommendations and guidance to support individualized instruction Serve as a resource regarding special education regulations and best practices Attend and participate in ARD meetings, conferences, and ongoing professional development Maintain accurate documentation according to established timelines In this role, you'll find a dynamic environment where your bilingual skills and expertise truly make a difference for students and families.
