A school district in the Forney, TX area is seeking two qualified professionals (LSSP) for contract roles focused exclusively on educational evaluations—no counseling required. Work alongside a collaborative team supporting K-12 students, where your expertise will directly impact educational outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Active Texas School Psychologist (LSSP) license required Demonstrated previous experience in school-based psychology settings Experience working with K-12 populations Bilingual abilities strongly preferred to better serve a diverse student population Comfortable performing evaluations only, with attention to accuracy and compliance Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
In This Role You Will:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to determine students' needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to interpret evaluation results Complete all required documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational plans Monitor timelines and ensure all evaluations are completed efficiently and thoroughly Maintain up-to-date case records and follow district processes
