Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Join a dynamic team as a School Psychologist for the upcoming school year in a full-time contract role serving elementary and middle school students near Hutto, Texas. This position centers on conducting thorough evaluations, with a primary focus on Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs). With ARD facilitators leading the process and most ARD meetings held virtually, you'll have the support and flexibility needed to focus on high-quality assessment work. In this role, you'll collaborate regularly with colleagues through monthly assessment meetings and district special education sessions. You'll also contribute to Student Support Team (SST) meetings, using data to help guide decisions around special education referrals. The varied caseload across grade levels provides a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
Master's degree (or higher) in School Psychology or a related field Active state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting assessments, including AU, ED, and FBAs Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families Understanding of special education processes and data-based decision-making Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
