Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Discover a rewarding opportunity to thrive in an educational setting as a contract School Psychologist near Lancaster, TX. We are seeking two dedicated professionals (LSSP) to deliver crucial evaluation services for students from kindergarten through high school during the 2026/2027 academic year. This role is focused exclusively on assessments—no counseling or therapy components—allowing you to concentrate on the essential task of supporting student success through comprehensive evaluations.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Texas School Psychologist License (LSSP) Previous experience providing psychological services in school environments Familiarity working with a K-12 student population Bilingual skills are highly preferred and valued Strong organizational, communication, and reporting abilities Ability to manage a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) on a contract basis
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations for students across grade levels Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support educational planning Complete thorough documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and support IEPs Communicate assessment results and recommendations clearly and compassionately Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions
