Job Description

Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a pivotal role supporting student success as an Educational Diagnostician. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to conduct thorough evaluations at an elementary school setting, collaborating with dedicated educators and parents to create positive outcomes for each child. We are seeking two skilled professionals to join this engaging, student-centered environment for the new school year.
Responsibilities include:
Administering and interpreting a variety of formal and informal educational and psychological assessments Collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialized staff to gather developmental, academic, and behavioral information Writing comprehensive evaluation reports and presenting findings in a clear, supportive manner Participating in eligibility determination meetings and IEP team discussions to help design effective, individualized support plans Staying current on best practices and regulatory guidelines relating to special education evaluations Maintaining timely, accurate, and confidential documentation Desired qualities & experience: Valid Educational Diagnostician certification Demonstrated experience conducting assessments in school settings, particularly elementary Strong understanding of special education law and evaluation criteria Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative approach Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced school environment Benefits include: Full-time, consistent schedule aligned with the school year Professional and supportive colleagues Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' academic journeys Engaged, student-focused environment Advance your career while making a positive difference in the lives of elementary students.
