Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a contract role where your expertise as a School Psychologist will support students across various grade levels. You'll collaborate with dedicated professionals in a dynamic educational environment near Mansfield, TX, ensuring that every learner's unique needs are addressed. This opportunity spans elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school, so you'll experience a diverse caseload and meaningful impact at each developmental stage. Your tasks will primarily include completing psychological evaluations—both educational and autism-related—for re-evaluations and initial assessments. You'll also participate in ARDs as needed, delivering evaluation results and offering insights that shape meaningful educational plans. For certain students, you'll provide counseling as a related service on a small, indirect basis, tailoring your approach depending on campus assignments.
What You'll Need:
Current professional license as a School Psychologist Experience with psychological/educational evaluations (especially in schools) Familiarity with ARD participation and documentation best practices Comfortable working across multiple campuses and adapting to changing caseloads Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families Ability to pass required credentialing, including fingerprints and drug screening
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and prepare clear reports Participate in ARDs to discuss results and make recommendations Deliver counseling as a related service as needed Collaborate with educational staff to support student needs Maintain compliance with all school and legal requirements This full-time, 37.5 hours per week contract offers the chance to partner with a supportive school community and broaden your professional experience.
