Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, collaborative role supporting K-12 students for the 26/27 school year. Two contract School Psychologist (LSSP) professionals are needed to conduct evaluations exclusively—no counseling or case management required. This full-time opportunity near Mesquite, TX, offers 40 hours a week, working alongside dedicated educators and support staff. Your expertise will directly impact educational planning and student support. The district values candidates who are bilingual and have previous school-based experience, ensuring comprehensive and accessible services for students from diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications & Background Sought:
Active Texas School Psychologist (LSSP) license required Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments Strong collaboration and communication skills
Primary Duties Will Include:
Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students Preparing detailed assessment reports in compliance with district and state guidelines Participating in eligibility and multidisciplinary team meetings Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to interpret results and support interventions Ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards in all student assessments
