Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise in educational psychology to support students across a diverse K-12 population. A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to deliver essential assessment and consultation services. This professional role is ideal for those with a strong foundation in school-based psychological practices and a passion for helping children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
What You'll Need:
Current Texas School Psychologist license required Experience working as a School Psychologist within K-12 settings Skilled in conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and comprehensive assessments Ability to work independently in an itinerant role covering multiple sites Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff Adaptability to varying caseloads and changing prioritiesWhat You'll Do:
Deliver high-quality, onsite psychological services to students from kindergarten through high school Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations, prepare reports, and participate in eligibility meetings Collaborate with general and special education teams for intervention planning and support Provide direct consultation to school personnel concerning student academic and behavioral interventions Manage your caseload to ensure timely and organized completion of assessments Uphold the ethical and legal standards governing school psychological services in Texas This full-time position runs the duration of the 2026-2027 academic year, offering a meaningful way to make a significant impact within the school community.
