Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students' growth in a dynamic educational environment as a School Psychologist. This full-time, contract position is based in a dedicated 9th grade center, with opportunities to collaborate with elementary schools as part of a highly respected team. We are seeking two professionals ready to contribute their expertise toward student success and district initiatives.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current and valid certification as a School Psychologist Experience with school-based psychological assessments and evaluations Skilled in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including diagnosticians and educational staff Strong understanding of ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) procedures Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations for students at the 9th grade center, partnering with diagnosticians for elementary school cases Assist with ARD meetings, providing input and guidance based on assessment results and student needs Regularly review and interpret psychological and educational evaluations Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards Liaise with educators and families to support student learning plans and success strategies Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and best practices in all professional interactions This is an impactful position where your expertise directly influences the educational pathway for students.
