Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a bilingual School Psychologist. Working full-time for the entire school year, you'll be part of a dedicated team of two onsite psychologists supporting the educational and emotional well-being of children in a school setting near Jbsa Lackland, TX. This role requires fluency in English and another language to ensure effective communication with a diverse student community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist Bilingual proficiency (English and another language required) Previous experience in schools or with student populations is preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including bilingual evaluations
Your Responsibilities:
Provide psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention services for students Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies that support student learning and well-being Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver crisis intervention and consult with staff on best practices for student mental health Maintain confidentiality and accurate student records as required by law and district policies Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every student can thrive This contract offers full-time hours throughout the school year, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in the classroom and beyond.
