Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing essential psychological services in a supportive educational environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work either onsite or virtually near San Antonio, TX, giving you the flexibility to tailor your work environment to your needs. With part-time hours, you can maintain an excellent work-life balance while applying your clinical expertise to support the academic and emotional well-being of K-12 students.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavior intervention plans, and counseling in a school setting Strong interpersonal, communication, and case management skills Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and behavioral interventions Familiarity with current laws and regulations regarding student services and special education (IDEA, Section 504) Comfortable working either onsite at schools or remotely via virtual platforms
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to determine students' educational and emotional needs Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to promote student success Provide individual and group counseling services to address students' academic, social, and emotional concerns Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other related service providers Consult on the development and review of IEPs, behavioral intervention plans, and 504 plans Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with regulatory mandates Support positive school climate and crisis intervention as needed Embrace the flexibility of part-time work and the choice of onsite or virtual service delivery as you help create a supportive learning environment.
