Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time, bilingual school psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract position features two onsite spots, providing you the opportunity to collaborate and share expertise in a supportive school environment near San Antonio, TX. Your bilingual skills will allow you to connect with a diverse student population, helping deliver comprehensive psychological services to those who need them most.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or license as a school psychologist Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish required) Prior experience as a school psychologist within an educational setting is preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation abilities Deep understanding of special education processes, IEPs, and
RTI/MTSS
Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students Provide individual and group counseling for social, emotional, and behavioral concerns Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and well-being Develop culturally relevant interventions and strategies for bilingual learners Respond proactively to student crises and provide crisis intervention services as needed Maintain accurate records and adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines This opportunity offers a dynamic and rewarding experience supporting students and collaborating with dedicated professionals in a vibrant school community.
