LPA Psychologist Martin Neurobehavioral Center, PC Tyler, TX Job Details Full-time $60,000 - $70,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Intake Writing skills HIPAA Patient safety Emergency response in crisis intervention Psychology Organizational skills Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) to join a Neuropsychology Private Practice in Tyler, TX. As an LPA Psychologist, you will play a vital part in delivering neuropsychological services to an adult & geriatric population with a variety of medical, neurological, and/or psychological conditions. Our practice utilizes psychometricians to administer the neuropsychological tests. Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include interviewing patient & family members, writing reports, as well as providing supervision to junior staff members including psychometricians to ensure quality care delivery. The LPA will administer the neuropsychological battery on rare occasions when psychometrician coverage is needed. Competitive candidates will have demonstrated an ability to perform intake evaluations, psychological testing, and report writing. Experience in administering neuropsychological tests, while helpful, is not required to be a competitive candidate. The LPC will be trained on administering, scoring, and organizing neuropsychological testing data once hired. This position involves a managerial component to help oversee and ensure that quality care is being provided at all levels of service. The ability to problem-solve and oversee unique clinical situations is required, along with crisis intervention skills when needed to ensure patient safety and stability. Our practice is primarily an assessment and diagnostic practice. However, the opportunity to provide counseling and psychoeducation to patients and family members is available. Excellent communication skills and organizational skills are required. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
