Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-semester, contract position is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 education in Accomac, VA. This in-person role involves working 37.5 hours per week and providing psychological services across two to three assigned school buildings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings Ability to conduct psychological assessments and provide intervention strategies Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and support staff Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and compliance with state regulations
Location:
Accomac, Virginia Serving two to three school buildings within a K-12 district
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations to assess student needs and learning challenges Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop interventions and support plans Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality requirements
