Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a School Psychologist to provide psychological and student support services in a school setting located in Chesapeake, Virginia. The ideal candidate will work closely with school administration to provide services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.

                  Requirements:
                  • Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
                  • Valid Virginia licensure (Pupil Personnel Services)
                  • Passing score on Praxis #5403 (if applicable)
                  Responsibilities:
                  • Provide services supporting student needs in accordance with IDEA
                  • Maintain confidentiality under HIPAA and FERPA
                  • Demonstrate professionalism and ethical conduct
                  • Work within District schedules and operational hours
                  • Follow District policies and procedures
                  • Notify appropriate personnel of absences
                  • Comply with all required screenings and training
                  • Any other duties as assigned
