Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Join a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist in Chesapeake, VA, serving the educational needs of a dynamic school district from August 24, 2026, to June 11, 2027. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments including testing and report writing Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide counseling support and assist with behavior management initiatives (specific duties to be determined) Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student success Manage a caseload tailored to district needsQualifications:
Licensed or credentialed School Psychologist Experience in assessment, counseling, and report writing within school settings Strong understanding of educational laws, IEP processes, and student development Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage responsibilities independently within a structured school environmentLocation:
Chesapeake, Virginia Hours and Schedule:
