School Psychologist - Chesapeake, VA Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Chesapeake, VA Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract 17 hours ago Qualifications School experience Teacher collaboration Family collaboration in education Working with students Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a meaningful contract opportunity serving students as a School Psychologist in the Virginia Beach region. This engaging, full-time position offers the chance to work on-site within a collaborative and supportive school environment, helping students reach their full potential during the 2026-2027 academic year.
Assignment Details:
Full-time schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday School year contract: August 31, 2026 - June 15, 2027 Work with a mixed-age student population Number of assigned schools and caseload specifics to be determined; flexibility may be available based on provider and district needs Strictly on-site—remote and hybrid work are not available for this position
Required Skills & Experience:
Active Virginia Department of Education (DOE) licensure as a School Psychologist Current and valid Psychologist license Demonstrated experience supporting students in academic, social, and behavioral areas within a school environment Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families Strong organizational and communication skills
