Contractor Clinical Psychologist Fairfax, VA 22030 Full-time, Contract Full-time, Contract Company Description Cognitive Solutions LLC is a premier neuropsychological and forensic psychology practice serving the DC metro region. We are seeking a licensed, doctoral-level Neuropsychologist to join our growing network of contractors, conducting clinical and forensic evaluations for court-referred, county, and private patients. Key Responsibilities
D.) in Clinical Psychology
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for clinical and forensic referrals
- Administer, score, and interpret standardized neuropsychological test batteries
- Complete capacity evaluations, including guardianship, conservatorship, and testamentary capacity assessments
- Perform PTSD and TBI assessments for forensic and clinical populations
- Prepare detailed, court-ready psychological reports with findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of forensic and clinical specialists
- Provide expert witness testimony as needed Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (Ph.
D.) in Clinical Psychology
- Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in both Virginia and Maryland (required)
- 2-3 years of neuropsychological evaluation experience preferred
- Experience with forensic evaluations and court-referred cases strongly preferred
- Proficiency with standardized test batteries (WAIS, WMS, RBANS, PAI, MMPI, etc.)
- Familiarity with capacity evaluations and relevant legal standards
- Strong written communication skills; ability to produce concise, defensible reports Why Cognitive Solutions
