Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A full-time contract opportunity is available for two School Psychologists to support educational services in Hampton, VA, from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027. This role involves contributing to a dynamic school district by providing essential psychological services to students and collaborating with educational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer psychological testing and assessments to identify student needs. Develop comprehensive reports and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Provide counseling and implement behavior support strategies, with specific duties to be determined. Manage a caseload as assigned, ensuring effective support for students' educational and behavioral development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting psychological assessments, report writing, and supporting IEP development. Skills in counseling and behavior management within school settings. Ability to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) during the contract period. Strong communication and organizational skills.
