Job Description

School Psychologist position in Norfolk, Virginia for a 36‑week assignment. The role involves assessing and supporting students with diverse needs while collaborating with school staff and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized assessments and intervention plans for students with diverse needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success and well‑being Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and IEP meetings Provide counseling and behavioral support to students as needed Execute scheduled assessments and respond to emergent student psychological needs efficiently
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field Valid School Psychologist License, CPR certification, First Aid certification At least 1 year of school psychology experience in an educational setting Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, familiarity with IEP processes
