Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role serving students in a dynamic educational environment from August 2026 through June 2027. As a School Psychologist on a contract basis, you'll provide essential support to elementary, middle, and high school students, working 35-37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will be vital in promoting student well-being, supporting positive learning outcomes, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Qualifications:
Hold current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experienced with assessments, evaluations, and participation in IEP meetings. Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 caseload (elementary, middle, and high school); accommodations can be discussed based on caseload preference. Strong skills in coordinating with teachers, administrators, and families. Effective communication and report-writing abilities. Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced school setting. Passion for fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments.What You'll Do:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students referred by teachers or parents/guardians. Participate actively in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs to meet students' individualized needs. Consult with educators, families, and allied professionals to address academic and behavioral challenges. Provide targeted interventions and counseling as appropriate. Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. Contribute to schoolwide efforts promoting mental health and positive behavior.
