Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take the next step in your School Psychology career with a full-time contract opportunity based near Stafford, VA. This role offers 37.5 hours per week in a supportive school setting, focusing on comprehensive student assessment and collaboration with dedicated educational professionals. Your expertise will directly impact student success while you grow your skills in a dynamic, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct formal psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students Complete assessments to support special education eligibility decisions Interpret standardized testing data and provide detailed, written reports Participate actively in eligibility and IEP meetings, as well as parent conferences Collaborate closely with teachers, special education team members, and administrators to facilitate student support plans Contribute to behavior intervention planning and student services as needed Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all established timelines and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology (required) Active Virginia School Psychologist license or credential Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments, participating in IEPs, and supporting eligibility meetings Excellent report writing, analysis, and interpersonal collaboration skills Embark on a meaningful role where you can make a true difference in students' educational journeys while advancing your professional expertise.
