Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in educational settings by providing vital psychological support to students as a contracted professional. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families, conducting assessments, developing strategies, and fostering a supportive environment to help students thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field. Experience performing assessments, counseling, and intervention services in a school setting. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and federal/state education regulations. Ability to handle caseloads efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations for students. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing insights and recommendations. Offer counseling and consultation services to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Maintain detailed and confidential documentation as required by educational standards and policies. Assist with crisis intervention and provide guidance on strategies for classroom management.
