Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a full-time position serving a rural school district during the 2026-2027 academic year.
Position Details:
Schedule:
40 hours per week
Assignment Dates:
August 5, 2026 - May 26, 2027
Setting:
Onsite; assigned across three school campuses within a 10-mile radius
Schools Served:
1 elementary, 1 middle, and 1 high school (with occasional PreK cases)
Caseload & Responsibilities:
Conduct approximately 60 psychoeducational evaluations annually, including both initial evaluations and re-evaluations (with a higher concentration of re-evaluations at upper grade levels) Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive, compliant reports Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team collaboration Support student services and intervention planning as needed Optional counseling services based on candidate preference (not required)
Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with psychoeducational evaluations, eligibility determination, and IEP processes Strong report writing, organizational, and collaboration skills This role offers the opportunity to work across a close-knit, rural district while supporting a diverse K-12 student population.
