Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role serving students from elementary through high school, located near the vibrant Virginia Beach area. This full-time position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering 35-37.5 hours per week in a dynamic, supportive school environment. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of students and staff, engaging in meaningful work that fosters positive educational outcomes. The assignment covers a broad caseload—elementary, middle, and high school—with flexibility to accommodate your preference in age levels when possible.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist Experience in a school setting across multiple grade levels is highly valued Strong skills in psychological assessment, report writing, and intervention planning Familiarity with IEP processes and participation in multidisciplinary teams Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Solid organizational skills and adaptability for balancing varied responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
