Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact in school communities serving students near Williamsburg, VA as a contract school psychologist. This role is ideal for dedicated professionals ready to support student well-being and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff.
Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid and current certification/licensure as a school psychologist (or eligibility to obtain) Experience administering educational, behavioral, and psychological assessments in a K-12 setting Knowledge of special education processes, IEPs, and response-to-intervention frameworks Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and create detailed reports to inform interventions and educational planning Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering insights to meet students' diverse needs Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop student-centered plans Support the implementation and monitoring of individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultative services Offer recommendations for academic, social-emotional, and behavioral support Stay current with best practices, state guidelines, and professional standards This contract position offers the chance to build strong partnerships in schools and make a real difference every day.
