Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in the lives of students by stepping into a full-time role as a School Psychologist. This contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week in a collaborative and supportive school environment near Woodford, VA. The position is ideal for professionals who thrive when working closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. In this position, your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive re-evaluations Completing thorough assessments for special education eligibility Interpreting assessment data and preparing detailed written reports Actively participating in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to develop and support student plans Contributing to behavior intervention strategies and broader student services Maintaining accurate, compliant documentation and meeting all required timelines The right candidate will bring: A Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology An active Virginia School Psychologist license or credential Previous experience working within a school setting (preferred) Familiarity with evaluations, IEP processes, and eligibility meetings Strong skills in report writing and team collaboration This role presents an outstanding chance to expand your professional expertise while making a measurable difference in a diverse student population.
