Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' learning and well-being for the 2026-27 school year. As a School Psychologist on a full-time contract, you'll collaborate directly with students and staff to provide psychological services on-site. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about cultivating inclusive educational environments and adapting to diverse student needs. The specific caseload will be discussed during your interview, ensuring a collaborative approach that values your input.
Essential Qualifications:
Hold current, valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (non-negotiable requirement) Demonstrated experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and interventions in educational settings Strong understanding of multi-tiered support systems, behavioral interventions, and IEP/504 processes Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, faculty, and families Ability to commit to in-person services throughout the contract Adaptable and eager to work within a dynamic school communityResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs of students Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support special education eligibility and planning Provide direct and indirect support to students, including individual and group counseling Promote positive school climate and preventive mental health strategies Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all ethical and professional standardsHighlights and Perks:
