Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide expert psychological services within educational settings in and around Rutland, VT. This role is ideal for professionals eager to impact diverse student populations while embracing the dynamic nature of traveling between schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess student needs and support individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement interventions that enhance student learning and well-being. Provide crisis intervention, behavioral support, and counseling services as required. Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations effectively. Stay informed on best practices and legal requirements related to school psychology.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or closely related field. Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for the state. Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling in school settings. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse educational teams. Flexibility and adaptability for travel between schools.

This position involves travel to multiple school sites primarily within the Rutland, Vermont area.
