Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by providing essential psychological support and services in an educational setting. This full-time, contract opportunity for a School Psychologist runs during the 2026-27 academic year. You'll work closely with students, educators, and families near Waterbury, VT, supporting a positive learning environment and fostering student success. The specific caseload will be finalized in discussion with you during the interview, ensuring a good fit for your strengths and interests.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of all state-required credentials for School Psychologists Ability to work onsite; remote or hybrid options are not available at this time Expertise in administering psychological assessments, interpreting results, and developing recommendations Strong skills in collaboration and communication with multidisciplinary teams Dedication to supporting a diverse population of students
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and individualized educational recommendations Participate in team meetings to support student achievement and well-being Provide crisis intervention and support as needed Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote students' academic and personal growth Enjoy a competitive pay range of $95-$100 per hour, reflecting your experience and expertise as a professional School Psychologist.
