Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact on K-12 students as a knowledgeable school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This part-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite with a diverse caseload, utilizing your expertise to support students, families, and educators throughout the year. In this role, you will collaborate with school staff and administration to assess students' needs, contribute to the creation of individualized education plans, and provide evidence-based interventions. Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued, and you'll be joining a community-focused environment where your insights can truly make a difference.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Valid Washington State School Psychologist license and ESA certificate (verification required) Prior school-based experience strongly preferred Skilled in supporting K-12 students with a range of needs Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to providing equitable services in a culturally diverse settingPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students Participate in classification and eligibility meetings Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop student-centered interventions Complete related documentation in a timely manner Provide ongoing consultation for academic and behavioral strategies Maintain compliance with all state and district requirements Support a positive learning environment and promote student successKey Details:
Part-time schedule: 22 hours weekly, over 3 days, onsite only Mixed K-12 caseload Candidate availability required upon submission BIE adjudication process may delay start by approximately one week Connect your passion and skills with a meaningful educational setting for the upcoming school year.
