Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working in a highly supportive school environment near Auburn, WA. This contract opportunity is available for the 2026-27 school year, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The school community is known for its positive collaboration and strong support for its therapists.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (from an accredited program) Current SLP state license (or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or Clinical Fellow (CFY) considered Experience working within a school-based setting preferred, but open to qualified new graduates Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational multidisciplinary team Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering student growth and potential
Responsibilities:
Provide direct assessment and therapy services to students (caseload details forthcoming) Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and legal guidelines Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support speech and language development Participate actively in IEP meetings, evaluations, and professional development opportunities Enjoy a contract assignment offering opportunities to expand your skills and connections in a longstanding, reputable school setting.
