Psychometrist (Psychology Tester) - Part Time Western Washington Medical Group - 4.1 Everett, WA Job Details Part-time From $22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Outpatient experience Driver's License Working with children Bachelor's degree Psychology Associate's degree Psychology Behavioral health Full Job Description The Department of Psychology at Western Washington Medical Group is recruiting a part-time Psychometrist to administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests in an outpatient setting serving pediatric populations under the supervision of a licensed clinical Psychologist. A full psychological evaluation often requires between four and eight hours of test administration and scoring depending on the referral question and condition of the patient. Batteries of tests will assess a variety of domains including (but not limited to): Cognitive functioning Expressive and receptive language Memory and learning Attention and concentration Visuospatial skills and reasoning Executive functioning Social perception Emotional status
JOB DESCRIPTION
Administer standardized psychological and neuropsychological tests according to standardized administration criteria Score and report test findings using scoring guidelines Observe and report behavioral observations of assessed patients Develop rapport with patients to facilitate optimal performance
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree in psychology or a closely related field Experience working with children Strong interpersonal and communication skills The ability to learn quickly, work independently, and ensure confidentiality Preference will be given to candidates who have previously worked as a psychometrist or have received formal training on test administration Must be able to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States Western Washington Medical Group (www.wwmedgroup.com) is a well-established, multi-disciplinary medical practice in Everett, Washington. Schedule :
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 8:30am to between 3 and 5pm. No evenings or weekends.
Salary Range :
: $22/hour during training period, $23/hour once training is complete . All interested candidates are invited to apply.
